The Kangaroo Team, 43SE122 Kerry & 43SE144 Pete will be activating the Log Dump at the Barrington Tops National Park,NSW, Australia. The first couple of hours we'll be tuning the quad in.

IT IS WITH SAD REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE LPD IS TO BE POSTPONED. Apart from not having any props, 43SE122 Kerry has gone on a fishing trip with a couple of workmates & I have a mate that drove down from Darwin NT to visit me on his annual leave.

Antennas- Station Master 1/2w vertical
- home brew 3 element cubical quad

Working Frequency's- 27.385 lsb (2 & 17 div) or 27.335 usb (Oceania Islands)

The 3 ele portable quad performed extremely well. The side rejection was excellent, the f/b was good for a 3 ele antenna. We did some extensive testing with the local stations within a 200km (125 mile) radius. The results were better than expected. I was a bit worried with the shortened boom, but the antenna still performed well.
